ONLINE LIVE STREAMING COURSE
5 Sessions in real time (approx 4 hrs/each session), August 7th to 11th, 2023
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Geologists and reservoir engineers who want to understand the fundamental controls on water injection and waterflooding, and how to plan and predict performance of oil reservoirs selected as waterflooding candidates. The course is designed not only for those entering the technology of waterflooding but on re-enforcing known techniques for the waterflood practitioner. The course covers four areas that a waterflood practitioner should understand: impacts of geology (including rock properties) and fluid properties, performance prediction, design, and performance measurement.
OBJECTIVES:
This class is designed to give the waterflood practitioner knowledge of what is important to waterflood design and operation.
